The monumental and the solitary coexist without resolving their relationship, creating a silence charged with recognition. Scale becomes psychological rather than physical: the smallest presence may carry the greatest uncertainty, while the largest seems suspended somewhere between memory, apparition, and inner consciousness.
Light marks a threshold but offers no assurance of what lies beyond it. Its radiance feels less like revelation than an opening—a brief rupture in the darkness through which another order of experience might be sensed. Around it, space appears layered rather than continuous, as though different moments, distances, and states of being have converged without fully touching.
The title suggests communication at the edge of perception, where meaning arrives indirectly and certainty begins to dissolve. What passes through the veil may be remembrance, longing, warning, or something for which language has no adequate form. The work holds that ambiguity with deliberate quietness.
Perhaps the veil is not separating two worlds at all. Perhaps it is the fragile boundary between what we know and what, somewhere within us, we have always known but cannot name.
