About JiPe

Art has been a constant presence in my life since childhood. What began with a fascination for drawing and painting gradually evolved into a lifelong exploration of atmosphere, symbolism, and the emotional possibilities of visual expression.

Working under the name JiPe, I create contemporary artworks in which realism, abstraction, mythology, and imagination intersect. Light and shadow, organic forms, fragments of the human presence, and recurring traces of gold become part of a visual language that moves between the familiar and the unknown.

Rather than offering fixed narratives, I seek to create works that invite contemplation. Each piece leaves space for the viewer to encounter something personal — a memory, an emotion, a question, or perhaps simply a sense of recognition that cannot easily be explained.

My process combines intuition with careful craftsmanship. Compositions emerge through layers of texture, light, form, and material, drawing upon both classical traditions and contemporary visual culture while remaining open to experimentation and discovery.

I am drawn to the tension between stillness and monumentality, darkness and illumination, fragility and permanence. These contrasts allow each work to exist somewhere between the tangible and the imagined.

For me, art is not simply about representing the visible world. It is about giving form to what can be felt but not always named — and exploring what may exist beyond the visible.
