Where the Soul Meets the Infinite

Where the Soul Meets the Infinite
Where the Soul Meets the Infinite

Where the Soul Meets the Infinite unfolds at the threshold between human consciousness and something too vast to be contained by it. A solitary presence rises toward an overwhelming field of radiance, while the surrounding darkness seems to deepen rather than retreat. Scale becomes psychological: the individual appears almost weightless against forces that suggest an order extending far beyond ordinary perception.

Yet the work is not simply concerned with transcendence. There is tension in the ascent, a sense that approaching the infinite may require the surrender of familiar boundaries. Light occupies the distant threshold with an almost absolute intensity, promising neither comfort nor certainty. It may signify revelation, dissolution, recognition—or something for which language has no stable form.

The monumental face introduces another ambiguity. It could be encountered as a presence beyond the self, or as an interior consciousness magnified until it becomes a landscape of its own. The distinction between inward and outward begins to collapse.

The title locates the work precisely at that uncertain point of contact. Perhaps the infinite is not somewhere beyond the final step, but already surrounding the one who climbs. What remains unresolved is whether the soul is moving toward something immeasurable—or slowly remembering that it belongs to it.
