The Golden Source

The Golden Source
The Golden Source

The Golden Source confronts the solitary figure with a presence whose scale exceeds ordinary measure. The surrounding vastness creates an atmosphere of reverence without certainty: something has been reached, yet nothing has been resolved. Distance becomes psychological as much as physical, holding the human presence at the threshold between approach and surrender.

Light descends with an almost gravitational force, gathering the immense space around a single luminous axis. Yet its radiance is not simply comforting. It suggests revelation while withholding whatever might be revealed. The closer it comes to the figure, the more ambiguous its promise becomes—guidance, origin, judgment, memory, or something for which language has not yet formed.

The title introduces the possibility of beginnings, but the source remains fundamentally unknowable. It may belong to the world before the figure, or to an interior realm made monumental through perception. The profound disproportion between human scale and the surrounding presence sharpens this uncertainty: is the figure witnessing something beyond the self, or standing before an image of what has always existed within?

At the threshold of The Golden Source, arrival and beginning become indistinguishable. What remains unresolved is whether the light marks the end of a search—or the moment the search truly begins.
