Where the Golden Moon Rises

Where the Golden Moon Rises

Where the Golden Moon Rises holds its world in the stillness of an encounter too vast to be fully entered. A monumental presence emerges between darkness and radiance, while the distant human figure remains almost weightless against the horizon. Their separation creates the work’s central tension: intimacy imagined across an impossible scale, as though the inner life had become immense enough to stand before its own witness.

Light does not dispel the surrounding darkness. It passes through it, revealing thresholds, fractures, and distances that might otherwise remain concealed. The golden moon intensifies this ambiguity, hovering between celestial body and interior presence, something simultaneously remote and strangely close. Beneath it, ascent and horizon suggest different forms of passage without confirming where either might lead.

The title locates the work at a moment of emergence. Yet what rises may be more than light: memory, recognition, longing, or a part of the self that has remained beyond language.

The solitary figure waits before that immensity. Whether the moon is rising over a new world or illuminating one that has always existed remains quietly unresolved.
