A restrained tension holds these works between disclosure and concealment. In Beyond the Veil, space seems divided by thresholds that are sensed before they are understood, while light appears with the precision of an interruption—briefly opening what darkness has kept intact.

The human presence is small but psychologically insistent, positioned against expanses whose scale resists possession. Distance becomes more than physical separation; it suggests the interval between perception and understanding, between what can be approached and what remains inaccessible. Light offers no simple revelation. Its arrival sharpens uncertainty, exposing edges while leaving the deeper territory unresolved. Silence, in turn, becomes almost architectural, giving form to absence and weight to expectation.

The veil of the title may be boundary, protection, illusion, or simply the limit imposed by consciousness itself. To imagine something beyond it is already to acknowledge how much remains unseen. Yet crossing such a threshold might alter the observer as profoundly as whatever is discovered.

Perhaps the mystery is not whether another reality waits beyond the veil, but whether we would recognize it once the familiar structures of seeing have fallen away.
